Viewing Party & Fundraiser

Hello, bonjour, g’day, and welcome to Eurovision – Australia Decides! Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir is hosting a Viewing Party & Fundraiser on Saturday 8th February from 6:30PM at The Chippo Hotel, and you’re invited!  

Come get in the spirit in the lead-up to our upcoming Eurovision-themed concerts in May by watching the live broadcast with us, and help us raise funds to continue our work as a powerful symbol of diversity, inclusion, and harmony here in Sydney. You’ll also get a chance to see the choir do a sneak peek performance from our upcoming concert, and enter our raffle draw to win some exciting prizes!

Any money raised will help maintain lower membership and rehearsal fees to keep the choir an accessible and welcoming space for everyone regardless of sexuality, gender identity, or musical ability; guarantee our continued presence and visibility at community events in Sydney and beyond, and contribute to making our upcoming concerts exciting, engaging, and musically diverse.

So whether you’re a Eurovision virgin or a total aficionado, pull out your best Eurovision look for a night of sequins, wind machines, costume reveals, and key changes as this year’s ten hopefuls fight it out to represent Australia in Rotterdam later in the year. Come along early to have something to eat, enjoy some classic Eurovision tunes, and get the best spot in front of one of the three screens.
