Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir is an inclusive un-auditioned choir which welcomes all members of our LGBTQI community and our straight allies, regardless of musical experience. Yes it will help if you have some musical ability but there’s lots of opportunities to learn and increase your abilities when singing with us. The easiest way to start is to come along to one of our weekly rehearsals in Glebe on a Thursday evening.

Your first visit is free. We’ll help you find the best section to sit in for your voice, and one of our experienced members will help you settle in to the rehearsal. There’s no expectation to sing, you can just sit and listen and join in when you’re comfortable. We encourage you to come back for 2-3 weeks to make sure you can decide if being part of the choir is something for you. The most important thing is to have fun!
