Inspired by the loves, triumphs and tragedies of our members, Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir is proud to present Tiny Love Stories, a musical journey combining the world premiere of an original new work commissioned especially for this concert, with some truly banging pop hits from across several decades.

Tiny Love Stories centres around a newly commissioned choral song cycle of the same name, with music by Ben van Tienen and lyrics by AJ O’Neill. Drawing inspiration from the stories of love shared with them by SGLC members, Ben and AJ have come up with an unforgettable work that will tug at the heartstrings and bring laughter and tears all at once.

Tiny Love Stories also features some of the greatest love pop anthems of all time – everything from Donna Summer, Starship and Meatloaf through to Lady Gaga and Paloma Faith. If you’ve belted it out at karaoke, chances are you’ll hear it on the night!
