Transgender Day of Remembrance is an opportunity for communities to come together and remember transgender people, gender-variant individuals, and those perceived to be transgender who have been murdered because of hate. This event will commemorate those who have been victims, it is also a chance to acknowledge the discrimination against the TI community. The event is due to commence at 6:30pm at Harmony Park, Surry Hills and at 7pm participants will then walk to Talyor Square for the Candelight Vigil. SGLC will be singing as the candles are being lit at around 8:00pm.
