Antonio Fernandez is a Spanish-born Australian pianist best known for his work as a collaborative pianist and music director. Antonio has been our accompanist since mid 2016 and also works with other esteemed choirs in Sydney including Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, Sydney Chamber Choir and Gondwana Choirs. He has toured Europe with the Pacific Pride Choir, and is also an alumni of Pacific Opera’s Young Artist program.
Antonio was trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid and has been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands. Since his arrival to Australia in 2013, Antonio has strived to embrace every single musical genre, but more specifically music for the stage.
As a music director, Antonio has worked with Ashfield Musical Society, Felt Tip Theatre, and the 2017 Sydney Fringe season of The Things I Could Never Tell Steven by Jye Bryant.
To the dismay of his friends, he loves board games and science fiction.
